Select services and versions from your catalog directly in Jira issues.

Version Select helps teams record the service versions relevant to a Jira work item in one searchable field. Users can choose matching service/version pairs and keep readable snapshots on existing work items even when the catalog changes or becomes temporarily unavailable.

Choose how to maintain the catalog

• Manual catalog: administrators can create, edit, remove, reorder, import, and export services and versions directly in Jira. Manual catalog features remain available without an active app license.
• Backend API: connect an administrator-approved HTTPS catalog API that follows the documented Version Select contract. Backend API integration requires an active subscription or evaluation.

Built for day-to-day Jira work

• Search services and versions and save up to 20 pairs in one field.
• Distinguish similarly named services with optional service groups.
• Keep stable identifiers and readable name snapshots on Jira work items.
• Store configuration and manual catalogs in installation-scoped Atlassian Forge storage.
• Store catalog credentials with Forge secret storage and never return saved credentials to the browser.

Version Select is a Jira Cloud app. It is a work-item record, not a deployment tracker, release orchestrator, project-permission filter, or arbitrary API connector.
